Bigg Boss 15: Why? This season failed.
Bigg Boss 15 is going to finish off next week unexpectedly. This season began with a bang amidst the COVID-19. However, within a few weeks, the show became popular, but later on, the TRP started decreasing.
Colours TV reality show Bigg Boss Season 15 is one of the most prominent shows that has been engaging the audience since 2010. According to the source,
Bigg Boss 15 was deemed to be a hit, but the layout didn't go well with the show. Here are some shortcomings that made this show a super downfall.
Many famous TV personalities have participated in this season, including Karan Kundra, Donal Bisht, Vindya Pandey, Tejasvi Prakash, etc.
Bigg Boss has been a show for celebrities, but in a few seasons when commoners were staying with celebrities, it was something people wanted to see. There is no doubt that ordinary people are perfect opponents to fame.
The problem with the celebrity contestants is that they are not ready to open up soon and there is a kind of fakeness or superficiality even when they act. It's hard to comprehend that a person whom we see on TV acts so awfully in reality. For example, Bigg Boss 15 contestant Karan Kundra is a highly image-calculated person who had been hosting MTV shows, but after going through a breakup recently, he has been struggling to find a way to make an impression that he would not look negative on national television.
Timing and Adult Content
Do you recognise when Bigg Boss brandished to broadcast at 9:00-10:00 pm? This was the first time we watched the show very late. It's almost like having a slot where 18+ shows or mature content shows broadcast or horror shows.
The primary reason why this show is being released so late is because of the mature subject matter that is being demonstrated on the show. Couples like Leshaan and Meisha get cosy just to get distinguished or anything that should not be allowed to show is occurring on TV.
These moments are super apprehensive to see because, the fact is, they are not substantial, but viewers are compelled to watch such moments, which makes your eyes roll in incredulity.
Contestants who are here for leisure and slumber are already on the blacklist in the sights of Bigg Boss buffs. In this season, there was Jay Bhanushali, who has been disparaged for being inactive on the show.
There are more contestants on the list, such as Shamita Shetty, who has a problem with everything, and Abhijeet Bichukale, who has been sleeping since he entered the show and is not participating in the tasks.
As we are all handling the coronavirus and also want mental peace, I can't say Bigg Boss is a stress buster. Because of the sort of fights contestants indulge in, the terrible scenario was from personal to getting into physical...
Contestant Devoleena Bhattacharya was seen screaming at the top of her lungs like a maniac, and it was so bad to watch how Bigg Boss can go extremely hyper and it makes you feel super hyper.
Boss 15 is the only season where not one or two are taken as wild card entries, but five ex-contestants. This looks more like guest service, as new competitors have to follow their order.
Repetitive contestants who come on each season don't need to be in the final. They can participate as a cameo and then leave.
Unfair Elimination and Scripted Winners
Bigg Boss is a scripted show when it comes to winners and unfair nominations. Recently, they nominated contestant Umar Riaz just because he was violent, but is he the only one? In a recent episode, Devoleena, Tejassvi, and many other contestants went violent, but no actions were taken for them.
In addition, there have been a few instances where decision-makers have shown bias against certain contestants. For example, Marathi is not allowed, but still, Bigg Boss didn't punish those who speak Marathi but those who speak English.
